A 2d alleged victim who says she used to be sexually assaulted by Pastor John-Paul Miller of Solid Rock at Market Traditional in Myrtle Seaside, South Carolina, when she used to be correct 14 in the gradual Nineties, said the embattled pastor and his father, Reginald Wayne Miller, suggested her she would be “raped by demons” for studying Harry Potter books.
The 46-internet page lawsuit, which identifies the victim as Jane Doe #2, used to be filed on her behalf Wednesday in Horry County by attorneys S. Randall Hood of McGowan, Hood, Felder & Phillips, LLC, and Discover B. Tinsley of Gooding and Gooding, P.A.
She said the abuse came about between 1998 and 2001 whereas she used to be a pupil at Cathedral Hall Academy in Myrtle Seaside, South Carolina — a internal most Christian College founded by Reginald Miller.
John-Paul Miller, his father, All International locations Cathedral Church (previously identified as Cathedral Baptist Church of the Colossal Strand, Inc.), Solid Rock Ministries, Inc. and Cathedral Hall Academy (previously identified as Colossal Strand Academy) are all named as defendants in the lawsuit seeking unspecified damages.
The victim alleges the abuse and acts of predatory behavior she suffered whereas attending Cathedral Hall Academy maintain prompted her “excessive and lasting injury.”
She is suing the defendants for negligence, deplorable negligence, and recklessness; civil conspiracy; assault and battery; outrage/intentional or reckless infliction of emotional hurt; and violation of the South Carolina Unfair Replace Practices Act.
The counts are only about a lot like these listed in a lawsuit filed by any other lady final month who says John-Paul Miller sexually assaulted her when she used to be 15 and 23.
John-Paul Miller is accused of assaulting Jane Doe #2 for the first time in 1999 when he used to be a trainer on the faculty at age 19 or 20.
“One morning in 1999, after chapel service, Plaintiff used to be requested to abet the door as students left the church building. Though her mother chanced on her strolling down the avenue from the faculty, Jane Doe #2 did no longer describe her mother.
“The horrors of Cathedral Hall Academy had been no longer correct physical and sexual, they had been psychological. When Plaintiff brought a Harry Potter book to faculty, RWM and JPM dragged her into the place of job. They berated her, known as her a servant of Satan, and suggested her that if she persisted down this path, she would be raped by demons,” the attorneys whisper. “Then, correct in front of her, they save the book on fire. RWM then beat her with a Bible and poured water over her head.”
Mica Miller died final April 27 at Slip River Train Park in Robeson County, North Carolina. Whereas some critics maintain speculated John-Paul Miller performed a position in his gradual wife’s loss of life, which he has denied, he has no longer been charged in connection along with her loss of life even after an FBI search of his home final November.
