Mumford & Sons like precise dropped their current song “Malibu,” the 2d single from their upcoming album, RUSHMERE. All the contrivance by the song, lead singer Marcus Mumford movingly sings about working by doubt and rediscovering faith.
In all my doubt
In all my weak point
Are you able to lead?
I tumble gradual
But such as you promise
You look forward to me
I in actuality feel a spirit toddle in me all all over again
I do know it’s the an identical spirit that easy strikes in you
I don’t know the contrivance it took see you later to shed this pores and skin
Are residing beneath the shadow of your wings
You are all I need
You’re all I need
I’ll fetch peace beneath the shadow of your wings
While presumably magnificent for long-time Mumford & Sons fans, the lyrics appear to indicate a faith hurry that Mumford has been on over the last decade. In 2017, he advised Rolling Stone, “I if truth be told like Jesus. I continuously like and I continuously will.”
RUSHMERE releases on March 28.
